Description
The OT-1N face shield is made of polycarbonate with a thickness of 1 mm. The height of the protective shield is 200 mm.
The headband allows smooth adjustment of the circumference by means of a mechanism, adjustment of how deep the visor sits on the head, adjustment of the distance between the visor and the face in the horizontal plane (patent protected solution) and adjustment of the angle of the visor in relation to the face.
The visor provides optical class 1 of the protective shield, protection against splinters and liquid splashes, resistance to impact of medium energy (ball of 0.86 g at a speed of 120 m/s), resistance to ignition and elevated temperature and to acids, alkalis and other chemicals according to the specification attached by the polycarbonate manufacturer, and protection against ultraviolet radiation.
The visor can be used, and is comfortable, for people who wear glasses.
The forehead reinforcement further stiffens the structure and makes it possible to easily replace the protective shield.
