Description
Protects the user's respiratory tract against harmful air contaminants in the form of solid and/or liquid particles forming aerosols (dust, smoke, mist) up to 4 x NDS.
Applications: non-toxic dusts, agriculture and food industry, use in quarries and cement plants, especially dusts such as calcium carbonate, natural and synthetic graphite, gypsum, chalk, cement, plaster, marble, zinc oxide, plant pollen, cellulose, sulphur, cotton, ferrous metal filings and coal dust containing less than 10% free silica.
Series 600 are the newest products in the Filter Service range. They have a clipless nose section combined with headband strap fasteners, which gives a high degree of sealing and thus high filtration efficiency, unique wearing comfort and low weight. The time-consuming fitting of the nose clip to the face has been eliminated and fogging of glasses is minimised. Series 600 half masks have fasteners for adjusting the length of the headband straps, which makes fitting easier and thus improves the seal of the half mask. The fitted exhalation valve gives very low breathing resistance.
Limitations: The half mask must not be used in oxygen deficiency (below 17%), therefore use in spaces of small volume such as ducts, manholes and tanks is not permitted. It does not protect against contaminants in the form of vapours and gases of substances harmful to health and dangerous to life. Do not use when fighting fires. The half mask does not supply oxygen. For persons with an unshaven or bearded face the half mask will not provide an adequate seal. It does not protect against aerosols containing radioactive and carcinogenic particles, microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi and their derivatives) or enzymes.
