Description

SOLID work boots in a version with a moulded-on toe that makes work in a kneeling position easier and protects the boot from wear. The upper is made of cattle split leather. The sole is dual-density polyurethane PU/PU, antistatic, slip-resistant and oil-resistant, with energy absorption in the heel area. The lining is made of hygroscopic material. The boot has an impact-resistant protective metal toe cap and metal loops. The deep tread gives high stability and walking comfort.

Read the instructions carefully before use and keep them for the life of the product. Before each use the user must check that the footwear is complete and free from damage that could affect the protective functions, for example cracks, holes or damaged seams. Carry out a risk assessment of the working environment to determine whether the footwear is suitable and what additional protective equipment is needed.

The footwear must be used only as directed and must not be modified, except for orthopaedic adaptations in accordance with Annex A of EN ISO 20347:2022. The footwear is not intended for contact with fire. Only new, undamaged and unrepaired shoes meet the performance levels stated in the markings. At extremely high or low temperatures, durability and scope of protection may be affected.

Choose the right size before first use, as shoes that are too small or too large restrict movement. Use a shoe horn. Adjust the shoe by tying the laces or fastening the fasteners, and loosen all laces and fasteners before taking the shoe off. Do not take the shoe off by pressing the toe against the heel of the other shoe. The shoe is correctly fitted when the foot sits firmly in the shoe and does not pinch.

Care: Clean with a slightly damp cloth and leave to dry. Then apply a small amount of a good quality product intended for the type of material and, if needed, polish with a soft brush or cotton cloth. Protect the shoes with shoe care products before first use and every time they are cleaned. Do not use corrosive cleaning agents and avoid soaking the shoes. Wet shoes should be left to dry at room temperature in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, with shoe trees or soft paper inside, away from heat sources. Do not dry the shoes with dryers or next to a heater. Do not use opaque or self-gloss polishes, do not apply too thick a layer and do not apply a new layer on top of the old one.

Storage: Keep the shoes in a dry and ventilated place, in the original cardboard box, at 5 to 24 °C and 50 to 70 % humidity. Do not expose them to extreme weather conditions. Protect them from dirt, mechanical damage and chemicals and do not crush them with heavy objects.

The shoes are supplied with a removable insole, and the tests were carried out with this insole in place. The insole may only be replaced with one supplied by the footwear or insole manufacturer that, in combination with the shoe, meets the properties of EN ISO 20347:2022. Footwear supplied with an insole may only be used with it.

Shelf life: An exact expiry date cannot be given, as intensity of use, weather conditions and environmental influences all play a part. When stored as specified by the manufacturer, the expiry dates are usually 5 years from the date of manufacture for footwear made of leather with a rubber sole and 3 years from the date of manufacture for footwear made with PU added.

Antistatic footwear should be used when it is necessary to minimise the build-up of electrostatic charges by dissipating them. Antistatic footwear is not suitable for working with live electrical installations. The electrical resistance of the footwear can change significantly due to bending, contamination or moisture, and the footwear may not perform as intended in damp conditions. The use of antistatic socks together with the footwear is recommended.

Markings on the shoe: 1. registered trademark, trade name and address of the manufacturer, 2. manufacturer's model designation, 3. CE mark and date of manufacture, 4. size, 5. batch number, 6. number of the European standard. The batch number and date of manufacture can be found on the product and on the packaging.
